KORE Group celebrates annual Wellness Week 2026
At KORE, our people are at the centre of everything we do. This year, alongside the launch of KORE Croí, our sustainability commitment to our customers, communities, and employees, we were delighted to host our annual Wellness Week. The week was designed to encourage our team to take time to focus on their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, while also creating opportunities to connect, recharge, and have fun together.
Why Workplace Wellness Matters
A positive workplace is about more than achieving goals and delivering results. It is about creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and cared for. Prioritising wellness in the workplace helps foster stronger teams, improves morale, and encourages a healthy work-life balance. Equally important is acknowledging the efforts and contributions of employees throughout the year.
At KORE, this commitment is reflected through KORE Croí, placing care, community, and sustainability at the heart of everything we do.
A Week Dedicated to Wellbeing
Our Wellness Week programme offered something for everyone, with a variety of activities designed to educate, energise, and inspire.
The week began with insightful wellbeing talks from I Thrive and Green & Blueprint, providing practical advice and valuable perspectives on maintaining positive mental health and wellbeing in both our personal and professional lives.
Employees then had the opportunity to participate in Somatic Breathwork sessions with Maria, learning techniques to reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance overall wellbeing through mindful breathing practices.
For those looking to get active, we organised exercise classes at Cavan Leisure Centre, encouraging participants to step away from their desks and enjoy the benefits of movement and fitness.
One of the highlights of the week was our Sports Day and Bubble Football event, which brought plenty of energy, friendly competition, and laughter. It was a fantastic opportunity for colleagues from across the business to come together and build stronger connections outside of their day-to-day roles.
Our adventure continued with a memorable trip to Killeshandra, where employees enjoyed Sauna sessions and Paddleboarding. The combination of outdoor activity and relaxation provided the perfect setting to unwind and recharge.
To further promote balance and mindfulness, Blánaid led a yoga session, helping participants focus on flexibility, relaxation, and mental clarity.
Of course, no wellness week would be complete without some treats. The Pig’s Tale Coffee Van was on-site to keep everyone refreshed with great coffee and a chance to catch up with colleagues.
We wrapped up the week with a social gathering at MacSeáin’s Bar, featuring golf activities and a pub quiz. It was the perfect way to celebrate the week together, enjoy some friendly competition, and strengthen the sense of community that makes KORE such a special place to work.
Building a Stronger KORE Community
Wellness Week was a wonderful reflection of the values at the center of KORE Croí. It reminded us of the importance of taking time to look after ourselves, support one another, and celebrate the people who make our organisation what it is. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the week such a success. We look forward to continuing to build a workplace culture where wellbeing, connection, and community remain a priority for all.
